Question 1

How much does the book cost?

Accepted Answer

The digital book costs NZ$14.99 — you flip through it online, download it as a PDF and can add an audiobook for NZ$5.99. The printed A4 hardcover costs NZ$69.99 + NZ$12.99 shipping. It's all laid out clearly on the pricing page.

Question 2

Which payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

By card through the secure Stripe payment gateway — Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Your card details never reach us; they're held by the bank and the gateway.

Question 3

My payment failed. What now?

Accepted Answer

Try again, with a different card or another payment method offered at checkout — your book in progress won't be lost (it stays in your browser, and once signed in you'll find it in My Books). If the problem persists, write to us at kontakt@hrdinaknizky.cz.

Question 4

Do I have to buy the digital book if I only want the printed one?

Accepted Answer

Printing is ordered for a finished digital book — first the book is created, you look through it at your leisure and fine-tune it, and only then do you send it to print. That way you can be sure exactly what you want is what gets printed.

Question 5

Is there a discount when buying several books?

Accepted Answer

Yes — family bundles of gift vouchers: 2 books at 10% off, 3 books at 17% off and 5 books at 20% off.

Question 6

How do I use a discount code or voucher?

Accepted Answer

In the order summary there's a field ‘Have a discount code or gift voucher?’ — the code is checked and deducted right before payment. The same field works for discount codes, gift vouchers and partner codes.

Question 7

Can I use several discount codes at once?

Accepted Answer

One code can be applied per order. A gift voucher, however, can cover several items over time (the book, audio and printing), and its remaining balance carries over.
